Your therapy is delivered by Mrs Susana Oppey a BABCP accredited accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who also works as a CBT therapist in a primary care psychological therapies service based in London. I have about 3 years post qualification experience in delivering CBT. I am also a Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 8 years experience, working both on the wards and within community settings within the NHS. I have extensive experience in the management of psychotropic medication with a good understanding of its effectiveness and potential side-effects. This means I can support my clients to make informed choices about medication and its effective use. I remain accredited with the NMC and abide by their professional code of conduct.
What to expect
Unlike other therapies, CBT takes a very collaborative approach where you are able to work in partnership with your therapist to set specific therapy goals. Out of session practice is an important part the treatment. We will typically agree tasks after each session that you may practice in your everyday life in order to enhance your treatment outcomes.
Your therapy is delivered by an experienced mental health professional who has several years of practice in the NHS and who is also a qualified CBT therapist.
